Cohorts Forming in 2019 for Nationally Certified ROMA Trainers and Implementers

Cohorts form as needed based on Applications received by the National Peer to Peer Training Project. 

Check the Event Tab at www.roma-nptp.org for a listing of the upcoming Phase 2 sessions.   Applications for these cohorts must be received (at the Application Tab) 60 days prior to the Phase 2 session, to allow time for the completion of the on-line Phase 1 course.

Dr. Barbara Mooney was selected as the 2019 recipient of the Ann Kagie CSBG Award given on behalf of the members of the National Association for State Community Services Programs (NASCSP).

The NASCSP Board presents this award each year to recognize outstanding and significant contributions to the Community Services Block Grant program, dedication and commitment to the constituencies we serve and leadership and advocacy for the network.

Preparing to Present

 New NCRT candidates often express frustration at not being able to use both the Trainer Manual and the Participant Manual together to prepare to present the material in the Intro to ROMA Curriculum.


 Alabama Mentor and Master Trainer   Laurie Lincoln-Swaim has provided guidance to AL Candidates and we asked if we could share with the rest of the network.
